Hi there guys, I'm new to this forum...nice to meet you. Well, I saw TMTCH live for the first time ever last Saturday ...and became a fan immediately! Such vigorous playing & having fun with our shy crowd...it MUST have been SPOOKY when you came on stage, confronted with a total SILENCE! Really weird!!! Anyway...it wasn't the biggest crowd even here and I can guess the reason: your gig wasn't advertised at all! Many commented the same: would there have been ANY ads, the venue had been crowded. In addition, the venue (Savoy) is not a proper place for this sort of gig at all. But you made a very good move by inviting the crowd to the front and finally on to the stage. It was great fun. To sum up...you must come back to Helsinki SOOON, and try another venue, such as Virgin Oil, for one example. And remember to bring Tom Spencer with you again. All the best to you all and hope to see you soon again!

I have been TMTCH-fan for 20 years, but I saw you live for the first time last Saturday. It was amazing gig. The best gig I have ever seen ! The list of songs was great, old songs and new ones. And Swill's solo-songs are wonderful, too.
Today I have been listening my old vinyls, How Green is the Valley and Waiting for Bonaparte and others.

And I must agree with Tuuiiya,
you must come back to Finland soon !

Thanks for your messages. After a rehearsal last weekend we were talking about going over to Finland again. Probably later this year or sometime next.

Also, noticed in another post that you are in London early August - well, you may be interested to know that The Men They Couldn't Hang are playing not too far from London on Sat 7th Aug at Wickham Festival in Hampshire. www.wickhamfestival.co.uk

Journey time from London to Wickham is approx. 90 minutes. If coming by train the nearest rail station is Fareham then taxi or bus from Fareham to Wickham.
